Congratulations Sarah and Bobby!
Ohhhh, what a fun day to tie the knot in Lynden! The weather cooled off and Sarah and Bobby enjoyed a beautiful wedding day roaming around the grounds at her parent’s home and the Lynden KOA capturing some beautiful images. We had a great time laughing with and getting teary-eyed watching these two who are so obviously in Love and ready to start the rest of their life together.

Trashing the Dress…
Trash The Dress, is a style of wedding photography that contrasts your elegant wedding dress with an environment in which it is out of place. It is usually shot in the style of fashion and glamour photography and may effectively ruin your dress in the process by getting it wet, dirty, and pretty much saying goodbye to that pristine white dress of yours…
It may be done as an additional shoot after the wedding, almost as a declaration that the wedding is done and the dress will not be used again. It is seen as an alternative to storing the dress away, never to be seen again!

Aimee and Rob celebrate tying the knot!
Omigosh! What a fun day! Aimee and Rob decided to be hopelessly romantic and elope in January – but still wanted to celebrate with their family and friends here at home with a wedding reception. It as a rainy and chilly day… but these two lovebirds didn’t even notice. We had fun roaming around Homestead in Lynden capturing some amazing photographs of these two enjoying having their friends and family share in their wedded bliss.

Heidi and Peter get Maui'd!
Congratulations to Heidi and Peter… who decided to tie the knot in Maui! What a fun time we had with them… traveling over and staying with a close photographer friend of mine, Marie Martineau out of Olympia, Wa. We played in the sand, the sun, and then eventually in the water… where Heidi wore my wedding dress and we did a super cool “Trash the Dress” shoot… it was almost too much fun. ALOHA!

Ashly and Troy tie the knot!
Awww. Congratualtions to Ashly and Troy who lucked out with some ahhhh-mazing weather for an ahhhh-mazing wedding day! We had such a fun time roaming around the Lynden KOA finding great spots to pose, chase some geese off, and laugh with the wedding party. These two are adorable and fun to be around and really, made my job so easy. There was no need to ask either of them to smile… they just had to look at each other… and they lit up. Adorable.

YAY for Stacy and D'arcy!
What a FUN, relaxed, laid back, up for anything wedding couple! Stacy and D’arcy were all about having a good time and enjoying being with their friends and family… and mojitos! We had such a great time roaming around in the sunshine at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club… and the ceremony was full of laughter and you can not help but notice and enjoy the fact that these two Love each other VERY much. Amy and OJ Get Themselves Hitched!
What can we say about Amy and OJ? This fun-loving and free-spirited couple decided to get hitched up on an amazing mountain with a breath-taking view in the early morning… it was gorgeous! They laughed, they danced, they broke out into song and they entertained us all morning long. It was a pleasure watching this obviously in Love couple do their thing… enjoy each other. Thanks for having us be part of such an amazing day!

Amanda & Zak get hitched!
Awwww. Amanda is one of our favorite photographers who used to work for us… so it was wonderful and bittersweet to be with her on her wedding day. Amanda and Zak giggled all day and were relaxed and ready for anything. Lots of sweet moments moved us to tears… but overall – the day was blessed with smiles and laughter. Congrats to this wonderful couple!
